Nashville, TN - United Airlines announced on Tuesday that they would resume selling hard liquor on November 15, just in time for holiday trips to visit family.
"We can think of no better time to resume our hard liquor sales than just days before our passengers begin flying off to spend the holidays with in-laws and other beloved family members," said a company spokesperson.
The airline reiterated that hard liquor sales only apply to passengers 21 and over, and does not extend to pilots.
