Tennessee to add DJs along highways to make road construction more enjoyable

Nashville, TN - Tennessee announced a new program on Monday where DJs will be positioned along highways to make road construction more enjoyable.

The pilot program will begin on I-40 outside Nashville, but representatives hope to expand the initiative across the state by spring.

"This program is our way of showing Tennesseans we care. Unfortunately, we can't promise there won't be construction delays, but we can promise they will be more entertaining moving forward," said a spokesperson.

The initial phase will only feature DJs, but the transportation committee hopes to add bands and other musicians later this year.

This is a developing story.
