Nashville, TN - A recent study by the U.S. Department of Holidays has found that 98% of Americans have no idea what Labor Day celebrates but are happy for the day off.
"Isn't it like a second Mother's Day?" responded one participant. "I guess I should call my mom."
"I really don't know what it is for. I'm just happy not to be working," said another.
Over 50% of those interviewed said they have Googled the answer in the past but can't remember or are still unsure.
The other 50% surveyed said they aren't interested enough to Google it as long as it doesn't affect their day off.
"I don't need to know everything. I like mysteries," said one man heading to the lake.
