Updated: Dec 20, 2019

Mt. Juliet, TN - An ambulance was called for a 45-year-old STAR WARS fan who was seriously injured in a car accident on Friday afternoon near the Providence shopping center in Mt. Juliet.

According to reports, the victim, Harold Mulberry, managed to call the paramedics himself and asked the first responders to rush him to the closest cinema so he could watch the final installment of the Skywalker Saga before any further harm could happen to him.

"I've been waiting since 1977 to see this movie," Mulberry told the paramedics. "I refuse to miss the it for anything."

The EMTs surprisingly told reporters that it was their fourth similar call of the day and encouraged everyone to drive extra safe this weekend.

In a heartwarming turn of events, one of the paramedics accompanied Mulberry to the movie and monitored his vitals throughout the 2-hour, 22-minute feature. Sources say that Mulberry is expected to make a full recovery.
