New Nashville Fair debuts world's first Pedal Tavern Coaster

Nashville, TN - Along with debuting a brand new fair, Nashville is also debuting the world's first Pedal Taven Coaster this weekend.

"We wanted to bring the best of Music City to the fair that bears its name," said promoter Jeremy Jergins. "What would a Nashville Fair be without a pedal tavern attraction?"

The innovative ride does require a $5 ticket, but each rider receives a free alcoholic beverage. The beverage must be consumed during the 90-second ride.

Along with the pedal coaster, the Nashville Fair will also highlight other distinctly Nashville attractions, including the Bachelorette Party Engagement Ring Toss and the I-40-inspired Road Rage Bumper Cars.

The fair will also spotlight the city's musical heritage with a nightly songwriter open mic competition and performances by The Woo Girls.

The Nashville Fair runs through Sept. 18
