Nashville, TN - The Nashville Zoo announced on Saturday that they will welcome two special guests when the park reopens this summer: The Sloths!
The lockdown-inspired Sloth Encounter, titled Sloths on the Slow Down, will feature two rare Ten-Toed North American Sloths, a 26-year-old male (Doug) and a 28-year-old male (Kevin).
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness these fascinating creatures in an authentic quarantine-styled habitat. There will also be a limited number of Sloth Meet & Greets allowing visitors to hang out with the beloved mammals and even feed them.
More information about the Sloth Meet & Greet packages will be released in the coming days. Tickets are expected to go on sale in early May.
