Nashville, TN - One of Nashville's most familiar landmarks, the AT&T "Batman Building," extended its antennas on Tuesday to promote social distancing.
Chuck Shoeburn, co-designer of the 33-story, 617-foot building, told reporters, "We added the extensions as a last-minute decision back in July 1994 for occasions just like this. Now, I'm glad we did."
The AT&T building manager said he hopes that by extending the antennas on the prominent building it will remind passers-by to adhere to the 6-foot distancing guideline whenever possible.
As a side bonus, the manager also said that AT&T wireless customers should experience amazing service with the extended antennas.
