Nashville, TN - Karen Thompson is all smiles today after her two sons, Tyler and Trent, went above and beyond to spoil her with an extra special Mother's Day mask.
"I'm beyond surprised. I usually just get a card, at best. But this year, they went all out...literally," Thompson told reporters.
According to Thompson, the teenagers pooled their haircut money, found a complete stranger on Facebook who was selling custom masks, and broke the stay-at-home order to meet the man in an abandoned K-mart parking lot to make the exchange.
The Nashville mom says the family plans to drive to a neighboring county where dine-in restaurants are allowed and celebrate the holiday.
Thompson said, "Call me a ham, but I want to show off my special gift. I'm the luckiest mom in the world."
