Nashville, TN - According to sources, local Tennessee mafia boss, Carlos Rigatoni, furloughed all nonessential associates on Wednesday night due to the economic downturn.
Witnesses, speaking on the condition of anonymity, say the mob leader handled the situation with the utmost respect, even treating the associates to a nice family dinner before personally delivering the news.
The Inquisitor reached out to the impacted associates for comment but no one returned our calls.
In a related story, Rigatoni has reportedly been summoned to New York by the head of his organization, Don Salvatore, for a nice family dinner on Saturday.
We also reached out to Rigatoni for more details but were told that he had "left town unexpectedly."
