Atlanta, GA - Kanye West became the third billionaire in a month to reach outer space on Thursday after he levitated out of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium during his "Donda" album release party.
Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson became the first billionaire space traveler on July 11. He was followed closely by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on July 20. Kanye West became the third on August 5 and the first to make the 62-mile trip without the aid of a rocket.
"He really is Yeezus," said one attendee. "History was made tonight."
It is unclear when West plans to return, but astronauts aboard the International Space Station say they spotted him above Antarctica around 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
