Biden excited to bring hope and apocalyptic traffic to Nashville during campaign visit

Updated: May 13, 2019

Biden traffic is coming

Few details are known on Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign stop in Nashville on May 20, but we do know that Nashvillians should expect massive road closures and apocalyptic traffic jams.

A spokesperson for the Biden campaign said, “The Vice President is very much looking forward to sharing a message of hope with the people of Tennessee as well as shutting down as many unnecessary roads as possible during his visit. He really enjoys watching the clusterfuss from the air.”

A Nashville official working closely with the campaign said they have painstakingly worked to maximize impact to drivers and that commuters should expect complete chaos during peak times on I-24, I-40, I-65, 440, Briley and Old Hickory to name a few.

Regarding length of closures, one official said off the record, “Well, I’d stock your car with a week’s supply of food and water and invest in a family-sized pack of adult diapers. It’s going to be a dumpster fire.”

No word yet where Biden will be speaking in Nashville, but it is rumored he will ramble for 15 minutes before heading off to shut down Miami.
