Health inspector shuts down family kitchen after grandma busted cooking without hairnet

Nashville, TN - A Nashville health inspector shut down a family kitchen after he busted a local grandma cooking Thanksgiving dinner without a hairnet.

The bust was part of a new initiative where 2,000 Nashville homes were randomly selected to undergo a Thanksgiving health inspection.

"We should hold our homes up to the same standards we do restaurants," said the inspector. "I hate to ruin this family's Thanksgiving, but Grandma Mimi was definitely not following health codes."

Neighbors say they last saw the family climbing into the car and heading east towards Waffle House.

Grandma Mimi did not respond to our requests for comment.
