Nashville, TN - A Nashville university has announced results of a groundbreaking study that found the majority of football fans just want an exciting Super Bowl where their team wins.
The study polled over 5,000 people who self-identified as "avid football fans" to discover that 100% of participants said they would prefer a game where their team was ahead by a comfortable margin and finished the game ahead of their opponent.
Lead researcher, Bruce Evans, told reporters at a press conference, "While we hypothesized that the many fans would prefer their favorite team to win, we never expected such revolutionary results. This could very well change the future of sporting events forever."
The findings will be published in the International Journal of Football Studies later this month and researchers are penning a book on the subject to be released before the 2020 football season.
