DOJ drops case against Errol Flynn

Washington, D.C. - In a stunning reversal, the Department of Justice has dropped its long-standing case against Errol Flynn. The famous swashbuckler, best known for his portrayal of Robin Hood, has been under investigation since the 1950s for lying about his connections to Russia, Cuba, as well as Nazi Germany.

A representative for the actor said, "I'm sure Mr. Flynn would be pleased that the Department of Justice has finally found the truth in this matter and he would like nothing more than to put this chapter behind him."

President Trump applauded the announcement calling Flynn an American hero and praising his performance in 1948's Adventures of Don Juan, a personal favorite.
