Chick-fil-A announced today that it will be extra closed on Easter Sunday.
A spokesperson for the restaurant said, "While we are always closed on Sunday, we feel it is important that our customers know that we will be extra closed this Sunday in honor of the special holiday."
The spokesperson did not elaborate on what might be added to the closure to warrant the "extra" qualifier, but some have speculated they will be chaining the doors in addition to engaging the standard locking mechanisms. Others have suggested that all Chick-fil-A sauce will be locked in the safe for the day.
We've reached out to a local franchisee for extra details, but they have yet to return our calls.
