Van Horn, TX - Just minutes from now, Michael Strahan will join five other astronauts to become the world's tallest Super Bowl Champion/Emmy Winner/Bestselling Author to go to space.
To make the 11-minute journey more comfortable, insiders say that Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin spent $50 million to add a dome to the capsule to give Strahan some extra legroom.
A lead engineer told reporters, "Michael is 6'5". We built this capsule for people closer to Jeff's size. Hopefully, the extra space will add to Michael's experience."
The Blue Origin mission is set to launch on Saturday morning.
