Archeologists announced on Tuesday that they have discovered an ancient milk crate pyramid believed to be the oldest on record.
Lead scientist James Montana told reporters, "From what we have seen, the building of this pyramid was the low point for an otherwise advanced civilization, and it ultimately led to its demise."
More studies are being conducted, but hundreds of male skeletons found nearby suggest the entire male population of the society fell from the structure and died from their injuries.
"We are still trying to figure out how so many men made such poor decisions. Unfortunately, we may never know."
The full study will be published in Archeology Today later this month.
